The drive to your hotel will be approximately 30 minutes. Today is a rest day to settle in and relax after your international flight. You may wish to head out and enjoy a cup of local chai and sweets. A welcome dinner will be served at a fine dining restaurant handpicked by Facing North where you will meet your Resident Director. A brief introduction will also be given to prepare you for the upcoming tours.

Early morning breakfast. Transfer to Islamabad airport for the flight to Gilgit, which is approx. 1 hour. Try to get the seat on the right side of the plane. The flight will cross some of the high-altitude peaks like Nanga Parbat and beautiful mountain ranges. Arrival at Gilgit surrounded by high altitude peaks. Meet and greet with your Guide/Driver. Visit Kargah Buddha also known as Buddha De Yasheni. Kargah Buddha is an archaeological site located about 6 miles outside of Gilgit. It is a carved image of a large standing Buddha, some 50 ft high, in the cliff-face in Kargah Nala. We will take the road to Hunza Valley from there. Our first stop will be the Rakaposhi viewpoint. Sightseeing and Photography. Excursion to central Hunza and then transfer to the hotel. Freshen up and hit the heritage market of Karimabad for some good local meals and nightlife. Overnight stay.

Today we will explore the culture and traditions of Hunza valley which has much to offer. We will start with a short heritage walk from Karimabad bazaar to Baltit fort. We will take a tour of Baltit Fort to know about the history, culture, and traditions of Hunza Valley. Then, we’ll walk all the way back to Karimabad bazaar. Chill at the local cafes with a view of Rakaposhi and other peaks which surround you, perhaps head out for shopping in the local markets. Then, we will move to Altit Fort, another stunning piece of architecture and history. There is a small hidden café in Altit called Khabasi Café which is operated by females only, an amazing initiative taken by Prince Aga Khan to uplift women empowerment. Today we will be preparing local Hunzai cuisine for lunch in an old local house to give an experience of the Karakoram. Sunset at Eagles Nest (Duiker point) observes sunset on 5 peaks above 7,000 meters. Return to hotel, leisure for the evening. Overnight stay.

Early morning breakfast. Day trip to Minapin which is one of the oldest villages of Nagar valley. Garden walk at Minapin, and fresh fruit picking from the orchards. Tea will be served next to the stream. We will depart to Bikchum Ghutum, which means enclosed ground, in 4x4 jeeps. It's a 45 minute bumpy ride which takes us to a hidden pearl, a ground situated right on the footsteps of the mighty Rakaposhi, known as the mother of mist. Picnic lunch can be arranged upon request. Short trek to the upper pastures near the Rakaposhi peak. Enjoy the mighty view of Rakaposhi. Return to Minapin. Drive back to Karimabad. Visit Karimabad bazaar to enjoy the nightlife. Overnight stay.

Morning breakfast will be served, departure to Attabad lake crossing tunnels. Continue to drive to the famous Hussaini suspension bridge. Photography and sightseeing. Head towards Borith lake, have freshly cooked snacks by the lake and enjoy the view. Short 20 minutes drive to Zero Point from where we will start our Passu Glacier hike. It is a 40 minute hike which has a beautiful panoramic view of Passu cones and Passu glacier. Return to Attabad Lake, and check into the hotel. Enjoy the beautiful views of the lake resort. Head to the boating area for jet skiing and boating. Return to the Resort. Leisure and dinner by the lake. Overnight stay.

Next we’ll head to Khunjerab pass which is situated at an elevation of 4,693m. Return to Passu, visit Yak Grill for lunch where you can try local Yak meat dishes. Head to Glacier Breeze café for scrumptious organic Apricot cake and tea with the sunset on Passu cones. Return to the hotel. Rest for a while. Visit Moksha resort for BBQ Dinner with local traditional music and a bonfire. Return to resort, overnight stay.
