Early morning departure from Islamabad to Chitral by road. It will be an approx. 9 hours drive crossing Swat Motorway to Dir, and then Lowari tunnel will lead us to the Chitral district. We will continue to drive till Ayun which will be our base for the next two days. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel. Enjoy the panoramic view of the entire town from their observation deck. Overnight stay.

Early morning breakfast will be served. Departure to Kalash valley, where first we will visit the most famous village Bumburet. Tour and sightseeing—there are small streets and narrow roads which have many heritage sites. After the tour of Bumburet, we will return to Ayun valley and transfer to a hotel. Our road journey will be mostly off-roading for three hours to Mastuj valley. On our way, we will take a tour of Booni and Qaqlasht meadows. Qaqlasht meadows, nestled in the Hindu Kush mountain range, offer a picturesque and serene escape for nature enthusiasts and outdoor enthusiasts. These verdant pastures, boasting panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and lush greenery, are a must-visit destination for those seeking an unspoiled wilderness experience in Upper Chitral. Then we will head to Mastuj where we will be staying in Mastuj Fort Residences—beautiful chalets surrounded with centuries old Chinar trees. Dinner will be served. The park is best known for hosting the annual Shandur Polo Festival. Enjoy your afternoon at the Polo and return back to Mastuj. Explore the surroundings of Mastuj. Early morning breakfast will be served. Departure to Chitral city, which is going to be a three hour journey. Today we will explore Chitral Town. We will visit Chitral Fort, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Chitral—the region was ruled from this fort. Later, we will visit the Shahi Mosque of Chitral which is on the premises of the fort. We will then travel to Birmoglasht which is on the mountain top. It offers a bird eye view of the valley. If we’re lucky, we might even have a sighting of Markhor that are indigenous to this region. We will have lunch at Birmoglasht on this day. If there is an ongoing polo match in Chitral Town, we will visit the polo ground and experience the thrilling event. As our tour is coming to an end, we are taking a slower pace to allow you more time for leisure. After breakfast, we will depart for Islamabad, which will be a five hour drive. Upon arrival and after checking into the hotel, we’ll go for a half-day tour of Islamabad, visit Faisal Masjid and the Pakistan Monument. The remainder of the day will be at leisure to allow you one last opportunity to experience the city on your own or do some last-minute shopping in Islamabad.
